BASMART HEALTH was established in 2019 by Dr. BASSEM ADEL who has 30 years of experience in medical and health development. The founder is a professional expert in medical and health's project management and its investments, hospital & medical facilities planning and he is a consultant cardiology and critical care, member of the American college of healthcare executives (ACHE) member of the American College of Physicians(ACP), and a researcher and lecturer in health economics. He is also an expert in planning and implementing sustainable health development programs.

Basmart is a success story through the unique business journey of its founder who in turn led the most prominent achievements in the field of health development, which began thirty years ago, and has now transformed into a professional team and a battalion of experts in this field.
Basmart Health started as a practical embodiment of the long experience of its founder, Dr. Bassem Adel, who is one of the pioneers of business in the health sector and medical services, as he managed many medical institutions and major hospitals in Egypt and the Arab world. He also worked as a consultant for business development, planning, training and structuring in the health sector. He is one of the well-known names in conducting feasibility studies and executive studies for major medical projects in Egypt, the Arab world and European countries. His expertise is also used by some specialized companies in the United States of America.

1) Transformation, expansion and construction works of Uptown Hospital in Mokattam, Cairo, with a capacity of 80 beds.
2) Supervising the construction, operation, structuring and management of Alnokhba Hospital in Kafr El-Sheikh, with a capacity of 50 beds.
3) Implementing training programs in the field of hospital management, health economics, institutional performance in health institutions, human resources, medical auditing, financial budgets for medical projects, health development projects, pharmaceutical industries, disaster management according to international standards, and combating epidemics, for many institutions, hospitals and major bodies in Egypt.
4) Developing, rehabilitating, restructuring and managing the Khedr Medical Laboratories Group according to international accreditation and quality standards.
5) Implementing a feasibility study (Uptown Hospital in Mokattam) to obtain a loan of 50 million pounds within the Central Bank of Egypt initiative.
6) Implementing a technical, operational and economic feasibility study for EXPERTS Hospital in Nasr City, Cairo to obtain a loan of 50 million pounds within the Central Bank of Egypt initiative.
7) Implementing the technical, operational and economic feasibility study for the International Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine in Turkey for Afia Group to obtain a $40 million loan from the World Bank.
8) Implementing the technical, operational and economic feasibility study for the Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Hospital in Malta for Al-Mutamayizon International Company in Turkey and Libya.
9) Consulting work for the Gloria Hospital construction project in Cairo.
10) Consulting work for Al-Mahba Center for Hemodialysis and Multidisciplinary Clinics in Cairo.
11) Providing technical and consulting support, development and evaluation work - APEXVIT Pharmaceutical Company.
12) Providing medical planning work and consulting support to Ark Zone Company for architectural designs for hospitals.
13) Preparing some hospitals and medical laboratories in the private sector in Cairo & Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate in Egypt to obtain accreditation and quality according to the standards of the Egyptian General Authority for Accreditation and Quality.
14) Evaluation work for some government hospitals in preparation for purchase or B.O.T system.
15) Organizing medical campaigns and convoys.
16) Media awareness activities to raise medical awareness to avoid cardiac arrest cases during sports competitions.
